Following September 11, 2001, I optimistically searched for something positive. Whether in the city, a suburb or mid-size cities, small towns or rural areas, people were coming together like never before. We were all under attack and had formed a bond that would decrease road rage, decrease crime rates, increase smiles between strangers, increase hugs among friends and a larger appreciation for family. People began focusing on the little things in life & the rat race began to slow.
It’s those little things that we need to start noticing again.
What ‘little’ thing can you begin doing?
